Bridging Worlds Through Spanish Learning
About Me
Your Journey to Joyful Living Abroad
I'm Dina, born in Gran Canaria. A former expat myself, my journey has been one of complete cultural immersion, adaptation, and ultimately, connection.
London has been my second home ever since I moved there in 2000. This change in my life has enabled me to embrace new traditions and societal norms which is only ever possible through learning the language, and speaking the culture of the people. I soon got to understand that my ability to communicate with locals transcended mere language proficiency; it was my ability to understand the culture they spoke, which has always allowed me to gain a deep sense of belonging and integration abroad.
Cultural Studies have been a steadfast ally throughout my academic life. I earned a degree in Caribbean and Latin American Studies from The London Metropolitan University. Later, I specialized in Language Teaching, obtaining a Postgraduate and a Masters in ‘Teaching Spanish and English as a Foreign Language’ both, from the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University in Spain.
I have been offering Spanish programs to visitors and expatriates since 2017.
